Join us at House of Oliver in Roseville, CA for pretty lettering! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, you’ll be introduced to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink in this workshop. We will cover all the basics and prepare you to add those unique lettered details to your snail mail, wedding paper goods, home decor, and more! The perfect crafty evening out!

Class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!

Class Expectations: Yes, lefties are welcome too! This class is encouraged for someone who has never taken a calligraphy class before. We teach the basics, and our expectation for you is to have ink flowing through your nib with enough confidence to be able to practice way beyond class. We love using tracing paper with our guides to help you build muscle memory and develop your own style!  If you have tried calligraphy out before, this class will be a great refresher and hopefully a chance to try some new supplies from our beginner kit that will re-introduce you to this lovely form of art!

Quartet by Sunset The Quartet Concerts have become a phenomenon.

A string quartet performing amazing songs that you love. Each month will be a special theme. Queens of POP - Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Dua Lipa & More! This will be on our classy patio during the sunset. 

This will be extremely limited to 50 seats.

Seating is on a first come first serve basis. You can enjoy dinner prior to the show. Doors will open at 6pm.  The show will start at 7:00pm The kitchen and bar will be OPEN.

Well, not just you, all attendees, plus 3 of our Celebrity Judges!  Come laugh and support local talent and help one of these comedians win BIG! Bar & Kitchen are OPEN

This is a 21 and over event  You will not need a confirmation ticket, your name will be on the list at the door. 

This will be outside on our classy patio, seating is first come first serve, doors will open at 5pm There will be standing room on the patio as it fills up.

Here's the Deal You think you are funny and your broke. Or, your not funny but your broke and you are willing to do anything for money. Or, your not broke, your hecka funny and you like WINNING! Here's the deal Someone is walking with $1000 Max 15, but most likely 10, comedians You get 5 Minutes to make us laugh This is a 21 and older event (Yes, that includes you) 3 Judges and the audience vote. The Audience is like 1 Judge. The judges vote 1-100, their combined scores with the audience score, decides the winner. And yes, the winner gets $1000

The event starts at 5pm, the order is random, so everyone must show up at 5pm. Yes there is a charge, BUT we are including a Drink for every competitor.  Yes the event is outside and yes it could be hot, so make plans. Yes, you can invite your friends, parents, uncle bob, to come and vote for you. 1 Vote per ticket. Does that mean you can buy a victory, technically .... No. You still have to be funny and you still have to win the judges over. We are looking to crown a victor.
